Three Killed at University of Alabama By Woman Driven Crazy By Conservatives

No, I haven’t actually seen that headline, but it wouldn’t surprise me.  The hypocrisy and deception of the leftist public relations firms, what we formerly called “journalists,” is amazing.  Never failing to point to conservative talk radio hosts, FOX News, and “right-wing” bloggers as partially or even fully responsible for shootings attributed to “right-wing extremists,” they have somehow neglected to mention the political leanings of the woman who allegedly shot six colleagues at a faculty meeting at the University of Alabama, killing three of them, and sending the other three to the hospital, two in critical condition.

The media PR firms have had to really stretch in the past to link certain murderers to conservatives.  Tara Lynn Thompson, at Right Pundits, says, “Reporting truth is only the bias media’s priority when it fits their narrative. And forget reporting. Bending truth is so much easier. Okay, forget bending. Let’s call it ‘rewriting’.”

She goes on.

For example, James von Brunn, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum shooter, an old guy with an ugly mug.

The liberal media attached him to conservatives and Christians all on the basis that the man was a white supremacist. (Which, by saying that, means they’re also saying only whites can be Christian. Anyone pick up on that?) Not taking into account the fact Christians and conservatives absolutely deplore white supremacists. The very core of conservative values is equality for all, whether black or white or male or female or gay or straight or free thinker or drone.

The leftist/socialist/Marxist minority among us despises the thought of equality for all.  They tout it as their holy grail, but in truth, they use it as the carrot to get the donkeys to pull the cart toward the total power that they crave more than anything.

And so the once-noble media complies, and write whatever they want, true or not.  Or, equally dishonest, they refuse to report anything that might put conservatives in a sympathetic light.

Ms. Thompson continues.

What the media forgets, while harping on pro-lifers and trying to connect them to an insane madman who dreamed of killing Tiller for ten years in all various ways, is the killing of Jim Pouillon, a pro-life activist in Michigan. The killer, Harlan James Drake, simply didn’t like Pouillon’s pro-life sign that he held at the side of the road. So he shot the elderly man several times while on his way to perform a second killing.

Where was the media outrage?

Where, indeed.

I don’t think the political leanings of the woman who allegedly shot and killed three of her fellow professors are pertinent.  She is deranged and no other person or ideology caused this.  Of course, if it comes out as the case progresses that she felt entitled to tenure, was denied tenure, and killed those whom she believed had wronged her, that might call the entitlement culture into question.

I can play that game too.

Michelle Malkin has an intriguing look at an incident in 1986, when Bishop shot and killed her brother, and the implications that event may have for current Democratic Rep. William Delahunt of Massachusetts.  Fascinating read, don’t miss it.

And finally, a Mr. Zennie Abraham, of California, postulates a theory in his blog at City Brights that perhaps Ms. Bishop herself was a victim.  To support this theory, he posts many favorable comments that Dr. Bishop had received from students on a website.  Though he states that the facts aren’t yet known about the case, it’s clear to him that “there’s a weird ‘Southern’ issue with a ‘Harvard-trained’ professor.”

He takes issue with the Alabama media using “Harvard-trained” to describe her.  For him, that proves that mean ol’ Southerners made a woman go crazy and kill three people, just because she was trained at Harvard.

I rest my case.
