Friend James at The Reaganite Republican has outdone himself, and I have to point you over to read his remarks on Zero’s appearance on The View.  I shouldn’t be surprised anymore by anything this manboy does, but I still find myself just shaking my head at him and his unpresidential manner, his narcissism, and his utter lack of sensitivity to the desperate plight of millions of Americans.

What a silly man.  What a doofus; he’s like the guy or gal who, at a funeral, starts talking about his/her own big plans for summer vacation.  To the family of the deceased.

As the Reaganite Republican says, Dear Leader’s appearance on The View this week (a TV equivalent of chewing-gum for the mind) has more than a few people scratching their head as they face the dawning realization that this president really doesn’t seem very serious about addressing the towering challenges the rest of us face everyday… at all.”

Bulls-eye, James.

Bulls-eye, James indeed.

Have a terrific day. :)

You wouldn’t expect a pig to whistle or a mule to solve trigonometric calculations; why expect this clown to know how to perform an actual job? He’s doing what he knows how to do.

Sneed of course you are right. And more’s the pity we’re stuck with him for another 2+ years.

sigh

Sneed, you are right, of course. I don’t know why I can still be surprised by his choices. Maybe surprised isn’t the word–maybe it’s just pure disgust at the choice a majority of voting Americans made in 2008. I mean, what’s wrong with those people?

“I mean, what’s wrong with those people?” Well, the huge majority are products of the American system of “education” and any answer to this question starts with that fact. Then there was the influence of the MSM, most of which is also the product of this system. But mostly I suspect it was GWB and JM. I realize Bush is well thought of here but from my perspective he was down there with Carter as the worst of modern era Presidents – until zero moved the bar much lower.

Eight years of GWB, for six years of which the Republicans controlled both Congress and the Presidency, and only an exceptional Republican candidate would have had a chance and JM was only exceptionally bad: clueless in Arizona. In fact the Republicans are lucky JM lost as he demonstrated precisely no comprehension of a free market or of capitalism or of how Congress and the Fed had actually brought this down on us and would likely have followed a similar path to what zero has with equivalent results. After four years of that it would have been possible to blame the entire depression and all the rest of what is on the horizon on the Republicans with who knows what consequences. He would have wanted to cooperate with Pelosi, cooperate with Reid, compromise with everyone in sight as he has no discernible principles of his own to rely on, the template for Mitt as it were.

Viewed solely in the context of which of the two would have been a “better” President I think the answer is JM but viewed in the context of which would have done more long term harm the answer is much less clear. Now at least the frog is starting to realize the water is warming up; with JM at the helm it may have been much less obvious. I voted for him but only by holding my nose tightly. So with the other choice being as bad as it was and the entire MSM blowing zero’s horn what else could be expected? It’s not like there was a “good” choice.

The president is just taking care of business…er…at least what’s most pressing for him…which is reaching out to all those women voters he’s been losing who watch The View. It makes perfect sense to me! It’s all politics.

Even the Governor of PA Ed Rendell said “the president should appear on serious shows… should have SOME dignity”
