Tea Party People At It Again

by Pup on May 3, 2010

Riot breaks out in downtown Santa Cruz; windows broken on dozen of businesses, porch of cafe set on fire” read one of the headlines on my home page when I opened up the computer this morning.

“Oh no,” I thought, “the Tea Partiers are at it again.”

No, I didn’t think that when I read that headline, not even for a second.  No, it’s not the normal, everyday regular Americans who make up the majority in this country doing the violent protesting.

It’s these guys on the Left.

“SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Close to 20 businesses were damaged after what started as a peaceful immigrants’ rights march in downtown Santa Cruz turned violent, requiring police to call other agencies for help, authorities said.” [emphasis mine]

Police spokesman Zach Friend said an estimated 250 people started marching through the city around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.” [emphasis mine]

Tens of thousands of Tea Party event attendees can gather and barely leave any sign that they were there.  They pick up their trash, and they do not break windows or burn stuff.

It only takes a couple of hundred left-wingers to do physical and monetary damages to wherever they choose to gather and “protest.”

The old establishment media, the ‘lamestream’ media as Sarah Palin calls it, continues to try with all their might to paint Tea Party protests as violence-prone, with ‘angry mobs’ of ‘extremists’ spouting ‘violence-inciting rhetoric.’

One thing I’ve noticed in all the pics I’ve seen of the protests of both right and left wing groups:  the only ones bringing lawn chairs are the right-sided Tea Party people.

I mean, who’s going to be breaking windows if they’re bringing lawn chairs?

Yep, I’m sure they will try to blame the Santa Cruz mess the work of tea party folks. They are already saying it was others and not the marchers that did the damage. Yeah right.

Have a terrific day. :)
