Well, I had no idea that the government wanted to provide me with satellite TV. Apparently, providing satellite TV to rural areas is included in that bill that Jim Bunning refused to support.
Well, gosh, if I had known that…..
Here I’ve been paying for my own satellite TV because, silly me, I thought it was something I wanted and was responsible for providing for myself. How could I have been so wrong?
Truth is, I wouldn’t take free satellite TV service from the government. I would rather never watch TV again.
The service they would provide likely wouldn’t include FOX News, you think?
Here’s the article I read that let me know about the wonderful benefit that the government wants to provide me. And with all that debt, too, they still want to give us country folk access to Tee-vee.
I’m having some trouble figuring out which “right” this falls under.
No, thank you.

We are in such trouble aren’t we. Yes, we are. Craziness.
I hear all the time about people who don’t pay their medical expenses that insurance doesn’t cover. When I had cancer and got into debt that I never would have imagined, I got a second job, sold my car and lived like a nun until it was all paid off. What the heck is wrong with me?
It is amazing to me, if you can pay for your tv service and I can pay off my medical bills what is wrong with the rest of the people in this country?
Mind blowing
It’s not that there is anything wrong with the rest of the country, per se. It’s just that the government now believes it knows what is best for us all – despite the fact that we are making it abundantly clear that, in fact, they don’t.
I don’t need the government to pay for my television service – sweet dear lord like that’s guaranteed under the Bill of Rights?! I’d rather they get their grubby hands out of my wallet in general.
If the government is offering free satellite TV. I have one suggestion, check for hidden cameras and hidden bugs to check up on what you are watching. Or, you could run as far and as fast as you can in the opposite direction.
Of course, it’s not the people that willingly cave in to the government freebies that they would want to spy on…it’s you people that just won’t accept all the government goodies…it’s you stubborn resisters that pay off your medical bills and pay for your own satellite tv…you sorry chumps (tongue in cheek) that take responsibility for yourselves…you’re the ones they want to spy on…and I’m in that camp with you too. Heck, I’m not even going to accept their money (and the endless, mindless paperwork that will accompany it while the retailer may or may not ever get the money back) to get a new stove in the cash for appliance program..we’ll just pay for it ourselves, thank you very much. I think the taxpayers have been taken enough advantage of.
