Sneed, thanks. You’re right, EPIC FAIL. It remains to be seen what the GOP will do; as a person who thinks of myself as having pretty good common sense, it’s hard to imagine how they WOULDN’T see this and change, but…we all know that common sense isn’t a requirement for “public service.” Though many of them aren’t all that interested in actually serving the public. I’ll continue to pray that more people like Brown, West in Florida, and others like them come forward to actually serve their country, and that the GOP party leadership will not snub them.

Wayne: you are entirely welcome. If not for Texas and a few other states standing firm earlier I don’t know where we’d be right now. I’m on “cloud nine” because, as a Massachusetts conservative I just had an opportunity to cast a vote that actually MEANT SOMETHING! I’m having so much fun listening to the idiots trying to explain away the election as “local.” It was absolutely, positively, undeniably a referendum on Washington, Democrats in power, the White House, and Government intervention and control over our lives. It had nothing to do with “local” politics or whether or not one or the other of the candidates “ran a bad campaign.” We, in Massachusetts aren’t as “liberal” as people think. We’ve just been outnumbered and discouraged for so long that our votes didn’t matter. It took Obama and his radical agenda, his radical associates, his czars, Pelosi and Reid’s arrogance, and a little luck to make others in this Commonwealth wake up to the real picture of what is happening to our country and our liberties.

The gun salesman of the year has morphed into the republican recruiter of the year. What an epic “FAIL” this would be tyrant is. Whether the Rs are bright enough to do as Pup suggests and really become the Republican Party with actual beliefs they stand for and will fight for remains to be seen. All evidence is to the contrary to this point.

I was about to give up hope on Americans resistance to Socialism, but thank God Scott Brown came through and showed me that Americans are waking up to the call from our Fore Fathers to come to America’s defense. There’s no time for celebration out loud, but this is definitely a shot in the arm for Patriots of this great nation. I pray we can hold on long enough to get more “Scott Browns” in office to save our country. Thank you Massachusetts! Texas is proud of you.
