I’ve read some great posts this week, from patriot bloggers around the nation. Sharing the best of the best in my Pup’s Picks, enjoy!
Someone should really write a book about what’s going on these days in our country. Oh wait…someone did. A woman by the name of Ayn Rand, as a matter of fact. A doctor, in Atlas Shrugged, explains why he didn’t want to participate in government controlled health care. Watching The Nation reminds us.
The Tree Of Mamre has wise words on the important distinctions between can, should, and must, with great examples of what happens when humans shrug off the shoulds, and go with can.
Andrew at Roman Around has a terrific post on one of the most devastating mistakes Obama may be about to make.
Friend Sandee at Comedy Plus has a political opinion piece amid her usual wonderfully funny stories. These words describe what’s in my own heart and explain why I and many others see the Tea Parties as only the tip of the iceberg.
Tired of being told how ‘selfish’ you are for opposing Obamacare and other socialist policies? Me too. Finding Myself In Alaska has a terrific post linked that does a great job explaining how Christian charity differs from ruler-mandated so-called help for the poor. Don’t miss this.
Did you know about the 10,000 yellow roses from American citizens (not the Obama administration) to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu? Read about it at the Frugal Cafe Blog Zone, great piece.
Hillbuzz has an assignment for all of us, and the due date is November. Seriously, please do read this, and if you happen to have some of the talents they’re inquiring about, get to work on this project.
Diane at Freedom’s Wings has moved! Please join her at her new site where she delves into the effects of Obamacare on some of our largest corporations and their bottom line, and how they’ve now been called to the principle’s office to defend their lawfully-required disclosure to the public of their economic forecasts.
One of the newest blogs I’ve added to my blogroll is Maggie’s Notebook. She’s an insightful and incisive writer who has a good sense of humor as well. And, she’s a fellow Okie! She likes Paul Ryan’s recent article and I do too.
America, You Asked For It is ‘reflecting on Good Friday‘ and second chances. Great post.
Finally, The Reaganite Republican has this, and if you miss it, you’ll miss one of the best GOP ads I’ve ever seen.
We wish all of you a blessed and happy Easter weekend. Come by tomorrow for a special Easter post.
Pup out.

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person redeives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government first does not take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.” Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931-2005
Hey Bob! Thanks for coming by and leaving such a GREAT comment! I love that!
It is so fundamentally true; it’s simple common sense, and a law of nature. It continues to frustrate me to no end how so many of our fellow citizens pay so little attention, and refuse to think for themselves that they can’t understand this. I think for a while on my FB page I’m going to concentrate on the economics of these socialist thugs, and how they hurt everybody. Even the dimmest should see that a national sales tax will cost them money.
Thanks again, Bobby. Great quote, I may put it on my sidebar.
