Pup’s Picks 3/6/2010

by Conservative Pup on March 6, 2010

The week has flown by and regretfully I haven’t added anything of value here.  Tax season, the start of garden prep, washed out pond dams to patch, cattle to move around, and all the other joys of daily living have kept me from the computer.  I’m not complaining.  I love being busy, and I love being outdoors, and most of my time the past few days has been spent out in my favorite of God’s churches, “with a Bobolink for a Chorister, and an Orchard, for a Dome.”

But I’m going to try to do better next week.  On to the picks of the week.

As Vicki says at The Frugal Cafe Blog Zone, “if we didn’t laugh at this ongoing chaos,…we’d most certainly cry.”

And another humorous (to put it very mildly) one from Hillbuzz.  Is Oprah no longer loved?

Kate, at Blatherings Blog, on the “Stepford doctors and nurses“, and Obama’s final (really?) lecture on health care rationing reform.

The Left Coast Rebel has a sober and sobering look at the financial consequences of enacting Obamacare.

I enjoyed reading at Motivation: Truth Adrienne’s capable destroying of the Left’s latest lies about Sarah Palin’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and her visit to the Oscar gifting suite.  Those lefties are getting more and more frantic, and it’s amazing to watch.

Here’s a delightful grammar lesson at Roman Around from Professor “Uncle Andy” that most of us don’t need, but apparently, the young Marxists protesting budget cuts at the University of Washington need badly.  LOL, Andrew.

And friend James, at The Reaganite Republican, has a great post about the failings of America’s MSM and illustrates how more information can be found in the newspapers in other countries.  He also gives a great analysis and summation of those already talking of repealing the healthcare obamanation bill if they resort to reconciliation.  Very informative and well-done.  Good job, James.

And with that, I’m back out to church, the garden.  Pup out.
