Pup’s Picks 2/6/2010

by Conservative Pup on February 6, 2010

Once again, I’m encouraged and inspired by just how much great conservative writing is going on out in the blogosphere.   There’s a wealth of great information and I share just a small sampling of some of my personal favorites, in this edition of Pup’s Picks.

Great write-up of Sarah Palin’s talk at the Salina, KS, Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet at Conservatives4Palin.

Super Bowl Sunday is coming up, and I’ll be watching.  Was glad to learn about the halftime show at FREEDOM EDEN and now look forward to that.  I usually use that time to pick up lint and pressing things like that, but this I’ll watch.

The Tree Of Mamre wrote a post that I just have to ask you to read, as it expresses my thoughts far better than I’ve been able to articulate, on the search for and insistence upon that one “perfect” candidate.

Kathy has been busy this week, cranking out terrific post after terrific post.  I had a hard time choosing just one so I chose two.  The battle for America’s youth is revving up, but thanks to Watching The Nation and others, it won’t go unnoticed.  And I particularly liked this video of Morgan Freeman on Black History Month.  What a great answer to Mike Wallace.

Left Coast Rebel reports on more Obama goings-on that gives me chills.  This is alarming stuff, and even more alarming, might just be the tip of an iceberg.

The Reaganite Republican shares yet another in the long line of continuing missteps Obama makes with our various global neighbors.  I mean, this guy offends people without even trying.  And not just any people, but heads of states.

Kris, at Reflection by Kris, sees the big picture and the point un-made in this sad story.

Waste, waste, waste the taxpayer’s (that’s you and me) money.  These people can’t do anything right, and protecting our borders shouldn’t be this hard.  Thanks to Frugal Cafe Blog Zone.

It’s Only Words found a very interesting blog post written by a progressive who is furious with Obama, fun reading.

Andrew at Roman Around has a delightful commentary on how tricky the English language can be, especially when you’re a Harvard Law School grad.  Loved this!

And last but not least, Comedy Plus, you rock!
