Time flies by and it’s time again for another Pup’s Picks. This has become one of my favorite things to do each week: share with you just a few of the great blog posts I’ve read this past week. Hope you enjoy them.
Oh, and I just learned that The Reaganite Republican has given me the honor of being the Featured Blog at his place this week. I’m blown away by this happy and surprising event, and I encourage all of you to check out his terrific blog, one I visit every day, and whose writing causes me to often think, “I wish I’d said that.”
The passing this week of Rep. John Murtha from complications of gall bladders surgery has left another House seat up for grabs, and Dim-ocrats scrambling. James at The Reaganite Republican has the story.
On the “Birther” issue, and Joseph Farah speaking of it at the national Tea Party Convention, The Tree Of Mamre has good advice for those of us fighting the Obama-Pelosi-Reid cabal. Well said.
Kathy at Watching The Nation found more evidence of the chicanery of the character-less Pelosi, and the lengths she’s willing to go to get health care control passed.
Barney Frank, Ellen Degeneris, the Human Rights Campaign, and all the activist gays who so vehemently support Dems, and even more vehemently oppose GOP candidates as unfriendly to gays, really should take a look at this latest tidbit of factual information from Creeping Sharia. Really, they should.
Apparently even the comic book superheroes have been taken over by the leftist anti-American thinking, to the point that Superman no longer fights for “truth, justice, and the American way,” opting instead to fight only for “truth and justice.” Thanks to Freedom’s Wings for bringing this story.
Can’t have a Pup’s Picks without something about Sarah Palin. Hillbuzz has a delightful copy of a radio program’s interview with Sarah on her birthday, where the topics range from her attending her first NASCAR event at Daytona to Piper being in the play “Annie.” It’s a fun listen. As much as I enjoyed the post, I think I enjoyed the reader comments even more. Be sure you read at least as far down as comment #4, and Hillbuzz’s reply about Trig Palin. Brought tears to my eyes.
Vicki at The Frugal Cafe Blog Zone has a powerful piece on the indoctrination going on in our schools. It is a MUST-READ for all of us, and if you have children in public school–this is what they are exposed to.
Andrew at Roman Around sums up my feelings regarding Michael Steele.
How can a leftist president with leftist goons as advisers bypass a deadlocked Congress and accomplish their leftist goals? Uncommon Sense has a great piece on executive orders and what can be accomplished with them.
And that’s a wrap. Pup out.

For anyone who doubts the logic of President Obama’s decision to close GITMO, see the Al Queda marketing brochure at:

Dan,
In moderating your comment, I watched the youtube video. Well-done! You got me at first, and I was thinking “this guy’s crazy,” and was prepared to click away at the mention of the Jewish people. Then I got it. Thanks for the comment and the link, we must use all tools at our disposal, including sarcasm, to beat these agendas and goals of these people.
Thanks for the trackback. It is much appreciated.
