Pup’s Picks 11/28/2009

by Conservative Pup on November 28, 2009

Last week I had the honor of being included in the Full Metal Jacket Wrap-Around at the Reaganite Republican.  I’d been thinking about doing my own round-up of favorites and my friend and ally James at the Reaganite Republican Resistance has given me just the gentle kick needed to “git ‘er done.”  So without further ado, here are just a few of the things I’ve read recently that were particularly meaningful.  Calling them Pup’s Picks, I’m going to try to do this each week, to help point out great words being written in the cause of liberty and American tradition.

I’ll start with The Reaganite Republican’s keen and clever remarks and observations about Climategate, and what that bodes for Obama’s Cap & Tax bill.  Thanks James.

Adrienne, at Motivation: Truth is one of my new favorite bloggers, as she is a supporter of Sarah Palin.  She has met the governor and spoken with her, and writes here about her wonderfully uplifting experience (and the unpleasant surprise afterwards) helping out at the Rochester, NY book-signing that Sarah did last week.

The Frugal Cafe Blog Zone has given us some timely and tasty suggestions of ways to use up our turkey leftovers.  I’m going to try the casserole, and can’t wait.

My dear friend Kathy, at Watching The Nation, brings to our attention another negative aspect of bring the terrorists to NYC for their day in court.

Leave it to Kate, at Blatherings, to always provide me with a chuckle and a grin.  And I agree, Kate, curtains for sure.

One of my first blogging friends is John, at America, You Asked For It, and he nails it with this hot-off-the-press post about how the Chicago bunch have figured out how to continue to give ACORN our money.

I love the Left Coast Rebel.  His post on the Dubai Debt Default is informative and has good advice for all of us.  And makes good use of alliteration.

Jeff, at Sweet Tea & Livermush tells us about the father of a man killed on Flight 93, as he speaks out and stands up against the insanities of bringing terrorists to New York City, and the crescent-shaped memorial proposed at the crash site of Flight 93.  We support this man and his cause, as those heroes on that flight most likely saved countless lives and an American icon from being taken from us. Never forget.

And finally, dear Kris in New England, at her wonderfully eclectic blog, Journal–Reflections by Kris.  She gives us the truth behind the new recommendations by the “independent panel of health experts” who think that women should now wait ignore the health of their breasts and cervix till later in life.

Hope you enjoy the premiere edition of the Pup’s Picks, and watch for the next edition next week.

Wow – featured in the first Pup’s Picks! I am honored and say thank you so much.

My “wonderfully eclectic blog” – good way to put my slightly askew, sometimes schizo look at the world according to me.

And thank you for lurking and de-lurking as your time permits. Always a pleasure to know you’ve been there.

Read Adrienne’s post on Sarah Palin’s book signing in NY. What an excellent job she did. Too bad about that egg thrower though. That young lady can write very well.

Have a terrific day. :)

Hey Pup!

Thanks for the linky love. Nothing validates a feller’s blog-worthiness like being highlighted in Pup’s Picks.

Thanks for reading and for the link! You’re still one of my favorite bloggers/patriots!

Keep up the great work and we’ll take this country back.
