Disappointing, but hardly surprising.
Makes. Me. Sick.
The “president” verbalized his support for the mosque in his remarks tonight at the Iftar dinner he hosted at our White House in celebration of Ramadan. (Let’s see….didn’t he refuse fail to participate in the National Day of Prayer, the past two years? This is the second celebration of Ramadan he’s hosted in our house.)

Thanks for the link, great to see you back here!
He’s a muslim so that’s why. He’s admitted it with his muslim faith comment long ago. What a shame.
Hi Pup, As usual, the president is on the wrong side of this issue as well as being against the wishes of the American people. If he is not a practicing Muslim, he is at the very least, overly sympathetic. God help us all survive his term. It does seem to make some sense, at least to me, that a man who spent his younger days among Muslims and worshipping with them, as well as having a Muslim father, would act this way. It does appear however, that his professed allegiance to Christianity was just that…professed. The American people have seen no evidence that that is true.
Thanks for the comments, guys!
Kathy, I think you’re right, about him being overly sympathetic IF he’s not a practicing Muslim. And that’s a big ‘if.’
I did read a different take on his support for the mosque at Ground Zero, at Hillbuzz, and they wrote that they were glad he had said this, that they had hoped he would, but didn’t really believe he would be that “stupid.” They believe that this will damage him with at least some of the blind obama worshipers, who will be faced with their hero doing/saying something that they really disagree with on a very emotional level. It makes sense, and I hope that is exactly what happens.
I say let this man flap his jaw as much as he wants. Each time he does he just exchanges his feet.
Thereby ensuring his one-term legacy of corruption and idiocy.
One of my sources says that Obama and his wife disappear regularly into separate rooms 3 times a day…could be for muslim prayers…or maybe catnaps. Who knows.
Mosque issue is tough one. I personally think people have the right to build anything they want in this country. However, this doesn’t sit with me. The imam has many radical ties. And there does seem to be a pattern of building Mosque to celebrate terrorist victories. I doubt the proposed mosque is going to be used as a community center.
