Don’t be fooled, folks. No matter what he says, Obama is not going to push a bill forward on healthcare reform that doesn’t include a “public” option, or, if you will, government option. For Obama and his leftist cronies, there is no point whatsoever in passing a bill that doesn’t allow the government to get in on the action. Because, after all, the whole point in healthcare reform, in the mind of the left, is to gain more control over the everyday lives of the citizens of this country, and to expand beyond reclamation the power of the federal government.
Obama is not acting out of a deep moral conviction that “all people must have good healthcare,” as the liberals who defend him are; rather, his sole agenda for the next three and a half years, as it has been from the start, is to do all within his power to increase his power.
So, don’t believe anything you hear or read about a compromise on the “public option.” It will be there somewhere, called something else, or in an amendment that we don’t hear anything about. Make no mistake, it will be there.
Cynthia Yockey, one of my new favorite bloggers, has written on this in a delightful and insightful post. Michelle Malkin also cuts to the heart of it here.
Stay alert. Obama has shown himself to be exactly who I thought he was, a man who can’t be trusted. There will be a public option, or a co-op, or a……
Well, this just occurred to me. I suppose it’s possible that they might allow a bill to go through, without a public option, and then, sometime before 2012, just simply nationalize all the insurance companies.
Do I like feeling this suspicious of the government of my country? No. I do not. Do I believe it’s necessary in these times?
Absolutely.
Stay alert, and pay attention out there.

He’s the scariest person ever to inhabit the white house. I don’t believe a word out of his mouth concerning universal health care except what he’s said in the past…”I want a single payer system.” Evil folks running Washington right now. EVIL.
Have a terrific day.
You’re exactly right Pup! This man is nothing but a con-artist, an illusionist with an agenda from which he won’t retreat. If ever he appears to be giving in or dropping back from his socialist march, it’s nothing more than a feint to encourage us to drop our guard so he can catch us napping.
We must remain vigilant in our opposition and never let up until this horrible bill is dead and buried.
Hey Pup, when you get time drop over to my blog and watch Penn and Teller explain Obamanomics about spreading the wealth….you’ll enjoy it…goes right along with your story about the pie.
And he’s going to try ANOTHER speech on health care…how many can we take?
