Milton Friedman received the Nobel Memorial Prize for economic science in 1976. His books, lectures, and informal interviews on television are inspiration and common-sense guides for those of us who abhor the growth and expansion of government into more and more of our individual lives.
Milton Friedman died in 2006, leaving behind words and work that will forever influence our thinking on liberty and prosperity, and the direct correlation between the free market and personal freedom.
In 1978 he spoke at the Mayo Clinic, and his words are just as relevant today as they were then.

I fear what he knew is going to happen. What a shame it is for the American people. What a shame.
Have a terrific day.

It is a shame, but it’s not over yet. Don’t be discouraged, though I know it’s hard. Dr. Friedman was a smart man, and saw what has been happening since the 1930’s. He most likely saw it very clearly during Carter’s admin, and I’m sure he would be saying the same things today if he were alive.
Just remember: no matter how outnumbered you feel, we are in the majority. WE. ARE. IN. THE. MAJORITY. It may not seem like it at times, but ALL polling and survey numbers support that. Just hang in there.
Thank you for all your support, I really appreciate you.
