I debated with myself whether or not to actually post a photo of this painting here on my blog. I decided that I didn’t want to. I don’t want profanity, vulgarity, general nastiness of any kind here, and therefore, as this painting falls into the sacrilegious category for me, I will just post a link to it.
The painting by artist Michael D’Antuono and titled “The Truth” will be unveiled April 29 at New York’s Union Square to commemorate PBO’s first 100 days in office.
I will prepare you though. This is another depiction of Barack Obama reminiscent of Jesus. I can only say that I think it’s important for us to be aware of things like this, and though this is just another distraction, knowledge is power.

Thanks for posting this, Pup. Oh wow, this is the scariest painting I’ve ever seen…will the ego ever stop? And we’re all pretty sure the President is NOT putting a stop to this kind of adoration. I’m wondering just what new kind of destruction the revered 100th day will bring to the American people now…
I will just add…this is definitely a sign of a spiritual climate in our country.

It’s all you said, and more. It made a chill go down my spine and gave me a sick feeling when I saw it. Sadly, it does reflect the spiritual climate and that bothers me a lot. But, the proof I guess will be in how it is accepted or not, when it is made public. Of course, we’re all seeing it now anyway, but it’s my hope that it is so blatant that even people who voted for the man will be shocked and disgusted.
