As an individual, I can never adequately express my gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served this country. As a country, America can never fully express the gratitude and debt we owe to those men and women who gave up their lives to serve and protect this country.
That doesn’t mean I won’t try.
For Carlo, and for the untold numbers of men and women whose names I don’t know, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless your families, and give you the peace and rest you so richly deserve.
