[From National Review, this gave me a good laugh. This is from Rob Long's column, The Long View, and is from the February 23, 2009 edition of National Review magazine]

Subject: Lobbyists
Sir:
Just to clarify: when you said “NO” former lobbyists would serve in your administration, did that mean “no” as in “none” or did that mean “no” as in “some probably will be okay”? I ask only because it looks like we’re going to end up with a couple of dozen here and there, and I just want you to have a heads-up. I don’t think it’s going to end up being a problem either way. No one in the press corps has even mentioned it.
Also: A couple of our minor cabinet secretaries are wondering if they’ll need to file 2009 tax returns. I’ve told them that if they haven’t been filing regularly for the past few years, it’s probably not a good idea to suddenly start. Thoughts?

Oh, THIS is a good one!!! Ha! You’ve been busy, Pup!…I’ve been out of town a few days working.
Got a joke for ya’ Pup…..how do you get a Democrat to pay his taxes? (forgive me for being partisan) Answer: Nominate him for a cabinet post. Ha!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s good, funny, and so true!
