Just when I think I’ve heard it all, that no person could surprise anymore, that nobody could possibly say anything more stupid than the countless barrage of garbage and outright lies we’ve been hearing for the past year, Chris Matthews comes through and proves me wrong.
Calling West Point an “enemy camp” shouldn’t surprise me, coming from Matthews. He said this after the President’s speech was over, and obviously was disappointed and disapproving that he didn’t see any cadets displaying signs of tingling legs, leaping to feet cheering wildly, tears streaming down rapt faces, or falling down to knees with outstretched arms.
Matthews embarrasses himself. He reveals his own ignorance of how things work. The man has no knowledge of military custom and protocol and is so arrogant and ignorant that he can’t even imagine that he might simply be witnessing how cadets are supposed to behave in a formal setting such as a President’s visit and speech.
What…a…doofus.
In case you missed it, and you probably did, unless you are among the unfortunate who depend on MSNBC as your source of news, here you go.

There are so many idiots out there just like this guy. Too many.
Have a terrific day.

It amuses me that there are people out there who consider MSNBC a “news source”. Sadly, to echo Comedy Plus above – too many people do see them as a primary source of information.

I watched the fiasco of his speech, and it was a total and complete insult to the brave men and women in uniform. The students of West Point have a morale problem coming from the Oval Office and Congress. Obama used this as another op, and the students showed how they felt about being used by a left wing socialist president and congress. These students have more courage and honor than anybody in Congress, I salute them, but not Obama and the Congress.
