I hate bullies. Cowardly and ignorant, they are not the same as warriors, though they likely think of themselves that way. When I heard the clip last evening of the iman telling Larry King, “If we move from that location, the story will be the radicals have taken over the discourse, the headlines in the Muslim world will be that Islam is under attack. Our national security now hinges on how we negotiate this, how we speak about it. The battlefront is between moderates of all sides… and the radicals on all sides,” I thought to myself that I don’t care how many people say that Islam is the ‘religion of peace,’ actions speak louder than words.
If the Koran contains only teachings of peace and love, then they aren’t following their own holy book. If, however, as I’ve often heard and read, the Koran does indeed contain exhortations to attack and kill the enemies of their religion, then they are following it and we shouldn’t expect them to do anything else.
They are bullies, pure and simple. Bullies of the world, and each time we give in to bullies, we weaken ourselves. It’s the slipperiest of slopes, and once started down that hill, it’s increasingly hard to stop.
Michelle Malkin says, “The “Muslim world” will “explode” if it does not get its way, warns sharia-peddling imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Pardon my national security-threatening impudence, but when is the “Muslim world” not ready to “explode”?
I agree with her. Read the rest here.

I don’t disagree with a word written by Pup BUT for a very different overall perspective than we are accustomed to I strongly encourage all to read the following link from the Lew Rockwell site:

Sneed, I read the link. It is a very different perspective, and one that I am familiar with. I’ve heard it from my liberal friends, and read it on liberal and libertarian sites. If I thought that way, you would be reading it here, too. But I do appreciate the link.
