Great minds must be thinking alike this week. I just sent you an email and mentioned my new post about this very same idea! Yes, we must choose our battles wisely, otherwise resources can be depleted. I call these events brush fires...but they are not the source of the problem. I believe this administration has some planned "crises" coming for us, especially now that they see how well it keeps everyone stirred up. Alinsky's #8...you got it right on the head.
