About the pup…

I am a conservative American woman, and am very proud and happy about that.  I like to write, take pictures, play with my pups, read, cook, watch movies, pick up pecans, and put them in a pie.  I believe that there are actually more folks like me than it seems sometimes.  I believe there is no greater country on earth than America.  I also believe that America and her Constitution are not invulnerable.  We must not take our liberty and fundamental God-given rights for granted.  There always have been, and always will be, those who will attempt to “fundamentally change” this nation.

We must stay educated, informed, aware, and attentive to what our elected and unelected officials are doing and saying.

I believe in God and am thankful every day for all He has given me.  I am greatly blessed.

The pup is part Husky, part Pyrenees, and he’s loving life.

I agree!! You may be interested in a petition I started called “We Demand True Conservative Leadership” aimed at Republicans who act more like Democrats.

I’d love it if you checked it out:

If you agree, please sign and pass it on!

Thank you!

I enjoy your blog very much. Thanks for stopping by at mine.

Conservative Pup,
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving your comments! I also enjoy getting comments–it seems to let you know you’re on the right track.
You have a great blog! I love the layout and your grammar is impeccable. It’s always great to find another smart Conservative woman and fellow dog lover.
Thank you for the link up, too! I will do the same.
For the next four years and beyond,

I hope you don’t mind:

I was VERY impressed, and had a wonderful afternoon :)

Conservative Pup January 30, 2009 at 8:45 pm

I don’t mind at all, and am very flattered. You are very kind and I am so glad you enjoyed it. I love writing it, and just hope that maybe even one person might start to think in a different way.

You’re doing very good work too on your blog, and I look forward to reading your future posts. We’ll fight for this country together.

Thank you again, so much.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello C-P! I see I now have another great site to check out on a regular basis here at conservative pup!

That said, hang on tight folks this is gonna be a bumpy ride for awhile with the O guy in our White House. This is a much deeper mess than most of us could have ever imagined. :(

Also, check out this link. This is why Napolitano is on the prowl for American conservatives. It is a bill that has passed the House (in 2007) and is now in the Senate – but wasn’t isn’t being disclosed is that although it hasn’t formally passed the Senate (to my knowledge), sums were included in the stimulus for the monies which are needed in order to create this subsdivision and the Fusion Centers which are distributing these memos. This way, the Senate can do what it is doing now – claim outrage over these actions – while they have been more than aware of the existence of these Fusion Centers and this bill passed by the House all along.

It’s all a political game. And actually what this bill does is make the U.S. government, rather than representatives of the people, a “hate group” all it’s own.

Here’s the language on the Senate bill:

That is also why I suspect people like Michelle Malkin – who is no more than a mouthpiece for the neocons really. She, as a conservative blogger and also watches Congressional activities, has also been silent on the existence of this bill – while publishing reports on select members of the Senate now “outrage.” Staged outrage really merely for their political careers.

Great blog Pup!

I still enjoy reading it, but had to take some time away. You asked me how to put the NRA badge on your site a while back and I’m just now replying to your message. (Sorry it took so long!)

Here’s the code I used in a text widget in my sidebar:

Join Now!

Feel free to use it.

Keep the fires burning and the lights on so we take this country back!

Conservative Pup May 5, 2009 at 6:12 am

Thank you John. Appreciate your coming by, anytime. And thanks for the link for the code for the NRA badge, I will try to add that here.

It is so encouraging to me how many of us there are who see what’s going on, and understand how off-path we are right now. Thanks for all you do to help get us back on the right path!

Kris, in New England May 15, 2009 at 9:21 am

Pup – great blog. I will add you to my blogroll and will likely become a regular reader. Good stuff here. Nice to find a fellow-conservative-woman out there.

Conservative Pup May 15, 2009 at 1:59 pm

Same to you. I took a look at your blog and liked what I saw. Plan to spend more time there tonight and this weekend. I’ll add yours to mine also.

Keep up the good work you do, and come back whenever you can.

Hi there! Loved browsing your blog. Wanted to message you here to find out how to contact you directly about one of my clients, Tricia Raymond. Judging by the topics you cover on your blog, I think you’d be very interested in speaking with her. She’s a passionate Pledge of Allegiance historian and author and speaker who has just recently released her second book on the Pledge, “Saving One Nation Under God” (the first book targeted younger children). And, I thought you might be especially interested in linking up with her to discuss the current controversies over the Pledge.

Hope to hear from you soon at the email I listed!

All the best :) .

Hi Pup … I felt impressed to tell you about a wonderful uplifting blog written by a Christian mom … I think not too much unlike you. She only posts about once a month, so you will have plenty of time to follow her. My daughter used to go to the same church in Indy when she lived there, and knows the life she lives. I promise you will love her. Her name is Karen Cooper and she is the Kingdom Mom. Here is a link to a sample of her writing.

Blessings to again Pup …

Pup June 21, 2012 at 9:20 pm

Carl, thank you so much for your recommendation of the Kingdom Mom! I just spent a couple of hours reading many of her posts and you’re right–I love her! I appreciate your thoughtfulness in sharing this with me. We truly can never know enough of our Christian brothers and sisters, and I thank you for introducing me to Karen. God bless you, Carl.
