“A Fractured Fairy Tale: It’s All Gone Wrong”

by Conservative Pup on August 24, 2009

“Once upon a time, when there were fifty-seven states, an audacious man ran a Kool-Aid stand. Many who thirsted for “hope” and “change” came to drink a cool, refreshing cup of “this is our moment, this is our time.”

Word of this magical elixir spread throughout the land. One day, some men stopped by the Kool-Aid stand and convinced him that the masses should partake of the nectar of the gods. So it was decided that the man and his Kool-Aid stand should go into the land and quench the thirst of the gullible and the entitled. And it was good.

The young Kool-Aid salesman spoke of free gas, free health care and forgiven mortgages. Like the Pied Piper of Hamelin, the man formed a mighty following of the great unwashed, intellectual elitists, union thugs and socialists. And it was good.”

Thus begins one of the most interesting and fun posts I’ve read lately.  Thanks go out to No Sheeples Here, for crafting it.  Read the rest of the story….

Carol did a great job on this piece. She can write another after another six months.

Have a terrific day. :)
