First, I want to say a huge THANKS to all of you who have missed me. I really truly do appreciate that, it’s a nice thing to hear.
Second, I wanted to let y’all know that nothing is wrong; I’ve just been really busy, working on several different projects, but all is well here. Again, I appreciate the concern, more than I can say. I plan to be more present here in the future.
Have you seen the new ad from the Republican Governors’ Association? It’s a good one, makes me want to ‘see the movie.’
Remember November. 12 weeks from today.

Welcome back but what a complete crock that ad you linked to is. For SIX years that gaggle controlled the presidency and both houses and what did they do? Worked on the Progressive Light agenda, that’s what. Who started the bailouts? Who had to kill capitalism to save it? Was that comrade zero?
There’s Paul and there’s Ryan and probably a few others but the rest are the same slime as is found on the other side of the aisle but wearing different costumes. Pretty words in an ad created by an advertising agency means absolutely NOTHING! It’s just the same old shuck and jive. Only gridlock offers any immediate hope.
I can’t wait for November. Things will change. This is the craziest administration I can ever remember. I thought Jimmy Carter was the worst. I was wrong.
Have a terrific day.
Sneed, Sneed, Sneed. I agree with you that the last time the R’s were ‘in control’ they were very fiscally irresponsible and flat wrong on several occasions. Made me angry and frustrated with them. But…I do have very real hope that some new faces and minds are in the running for November, some who won’t be the progressive-lites that we’ve seen in the past. As I said, that is my hope and my prayer. Thanks for your thoughts, though, I always appreciate it.
C+, I totally agree with you.
Pup, Pup, Pup, so you’re hoping for change? Good one.
Sneed, I am indeed hoping for change. I am as sick of the spineless, toothless, cojones-less, pretend-to-be-whatever-it-takes politicians from both parties as anyone. I am hoping that their days in the sun are over, or soon will be. I’m hoping that even if some still retain their seats, that they will be so in the minority within the party that they are basically ignored and/or voted and shouted down when they try to put forth some new progressive plan, cloaked in false conservatism.
That is my hope. I guess if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t be writing this blog.
12 weeks… got it!
Welcome back to the ‘sphere, and linked at RR today:
